Board and LED. This is bright enought to illuminate my desk at ca. 30mA, does not even get hot.
I just blew it up because the 12 supply touched the GPIO pin, awesome.
Raspi PWM signal generation
PWM value change every 100ms in one of the threads (~85% cpu usage, Raspi model B+ v1.2)
The display is liquid crystal! Theres space for 3 digits in the middle, it has a blue backlight (4 leds). EGT = exhaust gas temperature?
It has an 87C51, there is 10 wires going to the display head
omg. It's actually a liquid crystal display, with an octagonal zebra strip connector and 4 blue LEDs for backlight :o I think there is space for 3 digits in the middle. The pogo pins go to the substrate
Theres an 87C51 on it, im going to try and take the display head apart. theres only 10 wires going into it.
Tracing FPGA pins on this video decode board from a @firstname.lastname@example.org video wall display. Using @email@example.com LiteX to generate gateware which puts a UART on each Spartan 6 XC6SLX45 pin, transmitting the name of the associated pin.

It's a specialized tool meant for power analysis of smart cards. A very demanding project, USB comms next to a very noise-sensitive analog frontend. Im curcious to see how the new revision performs.
I've been assembling the third revision of this recently, perhaps it will be ready on sunday. Stay tuned.
